Who We are

They Birth They Art- fiscally sponsored community programs expanding access to midwifery care, healing from trauma thru art making, and resourcing belonging from a disabled queer trans Korean adoptee. Local + Virtual support.

Wilbliss Kim, the founder + director, is an artistic aspiring midwife. Giving care to folks of trans experience and those along the perinatal spectrum has been their heart’s work for almost 2 decades. Art is how they share their heart’s expression & emotion. They receive guidance & direction from Fluxx Productions, the Bambi Fund, and Navajo Birthworker Collective.

Disabled QTIBIPOC have a rich collective care history with high pay disparity- up to 31% less than cis colleagues (HRC, 2021) They Birth They Art provides income & shares leadership with other disabled QTIBIPOC. A community healthworker, a spiritual healer, and an Earthkeeper are among our team.

We Testify is an organization dedicated to the leadership and representation of people who have abortions, increasing the spectrum of abortion storytellers in the public sphere, and shifting the way the media understands the context and complexity of accessing abortion care.
